Sex and Relationship Therapy
Before words, there’s feeling.
Felt sense is an awareness we carry in our body of a situation before we have words for it. Real therapeutic change often comes not just through talking, but through learning to notice and listen to the felt sense.
Our Expertise
Felt Sense Therapy is a practice for sex, intimacy and relationships. We work with individuals and couples on the things that are hard to talk about anywhere else.
Our team brings together practitioners from sexology, somatic therapy, coaching, counselling and mindfulness, combining empathy with current, evidence-based approaches. Our approach meets you in your body as much as in your story, and we work with the full range of human experience, including trauma and what hasn’t yet found words.
We’re here to walk alongside you as you build lasting change.
Our Team

Her approach is trauma informed, centring the connection between sex, relationships, and the body through embodied counselling, bringing awareness into the body alongside the insight of sexology, the scientific study of human sexuality.

Frequently asked questions
-
Everyone is welcome! Not sure if we’re the right fit? Send us an email and we’ll let you know, or refer you to our trusted network
-
We work with all people regardless of their relationship structure or level of experience. The sessions will be useful for anyone who is committed, curious and interested, and does the work outside of session.
-
This depends on what you’re working with, what’s most useful for you, and our availability. You can book weekly, fortnightly or monthly, whichever supports you most. We’ll work it out together in the first session.
-
This is very common, it may feel tricky to broach the discussion of seeking support. If this is the case, speak about the benefits of participating in the sessions together. Rather than focusing on what's 'wrong' with them or your relationship, speak about the potential. If the conversation feels too overwhelming or doesn't go according to plan you can book in a consultation session and we can work through the best approach for you, your partner and your relationship.
-
If it is a relationship issue or concern, it will be most useful to participate together, but if your partner isn't interested, willing or able there will be activities, ideas and even practices you can take away and integrate into your relationship. It's important for you to know; you are responsible for your own body, pleasure and experience. So if you attend sessions on your own, go you!! Even if you do the sessions on your own, it will have an impact on your relationship.

Every single person who’s walked through my door has felt nervous in our first session together. Grounding, safety and agency are fundamental to our work. You will be at your learning edge, but you will have total autonomy the whole time. Each session is tailored to you and how you are showing up on the day. It is common to feel uncomfortable, awkward, anxious or nervous at first as speaking about sex is like learning a new language (and I wouldn't expect you to speak fluent German in our first session). You may feel uncomfortable and that's ok!
-
Yes! At home practices are a really important extension of the work we do in session. You learn by doing, and to create change you have to practice, explore and experiment. The homework I set creates an opportunity to integrate, reflect, explore and learn between sessions

You'll get a confirmation with the address or your video link, you will also receive email reminders. You’re not required to come ‘prepared’ for the first session, you’re welcome to arrive as you are.
